Our take on the Kosta Boda Snöboll Candle Holder 9 cm 3 pcs

The Snöboll is Kosta Boda's snowball-shaped glass candle holder, sold here as a set of three. Each piece is clear glass, about 3.5 inches tall and 9.8 inches wide, and holds a single candle. At $150 for the set at Nordstrom as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, so it is a gift-season buy rather than a bargain.

Pros
  • Sculptural snowball shape reads as decor even unlit
  • Clear glass suits most table settings
  • Set of three gives an instant arrangement
  • Made by a well-known Swedish glassworks
Cons
  • $150 for three small holders is expensive
  • Holds only one candle each
  • Clear glass shows wax drips and dust
  • Fragile; not for households with young children

Questions and answers

Is $150 a good price for the three-piece set?
It is the best new price among the three stores listing it as of November 7, 2026, but it sits near the top of the set's recent range. Waiting until after the holidays is the usual way to see it drop.
What candles fit the Snöboll?
Each holder takes one candle. Standard tea lights and small pillar candles fit the recess; check the diameter of the opening before buying oversized pillars.
How big is each holder?
About 3.5 inches tall and 9.8 inches wide, so each reads as a small bowl rather than a tall candlestick.
Is it real glass?
Yes, clear glass, made by Kosta Boda, the Swedish glassworks known for art glass and homeware.
Can it go outdoors?
It is glass, so keep it indoors or on a covered, sheltered table. Frost and sudden temperature changes can crack it.
Where is the Kosta Boda Snöboll Candle Holder 9 cm 3 pcs cheapest?
At Nordstrom, for $150.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Kosta Boda Snöboll Candle Holder 9 cm 3 pcs?
3 stores we checked sell it, including Replacements Ltd., Nordstrom, 2modern.
