Our take on the Kotobukiya Marvel Comics Bishoujo Hawkeye (Kate Bishop) 1/7 Scale Figure

This is Kotobukiya's Bishoujo rendition of Kate Bishop as Hawkeye, a 1/7 scale PVC figure sculpted in the line's anime-influenced style. She stands roughly 9 inches tall on her display base, with the bow and pose making her wider than a typical figure at about 10.5 inches across. It is a display collectible aimed at Marvel and Bishoujo line collectors rather than a toy.

Questions and answers

Is this a statue or an action figure?
It is a fixed-pose PVC statue at 1/7 scale, with no articulation. It is meant for display, not play.
How much shelf space does it need?
Plan for about 10.5 inches wide, 9 inches tall and 9.75 inches deep including the base. A standard bookshelf depth works, but a narrow ledge may not.
Does it come with a base?
Yes, Kotobukiya Bishoujo figures ship with a display base. Check the listing for any retailer-specific bonus parts.
Is it a good first Bishoujo figure?
Yes if you like Kate Bishop or the Hawkeye books. The line's scale and style are consistent, so she pairs easily with other Marvel Bishoujo releases.
How does it compare to a Hot Toys or Marvel Legends Kate Bishop?
It is a mid-priced static statue, cheaper than a Hot Toys figure and more detailed than a Marvel Legends action figure. Choose it if you want a display piece rather than something poseable.
When is it cheapest?
Bishoujo figures often see discounts after release and during retailer clearance events. Watch the price history here rather than buying at full launch price.
