Our take on the Ktaxon Makeup Vanity Set with 3 Color Lighted Mirror and Charging Station

The Ktaxon Makeup Vanity Set is a wood-and-MDF vanity table with a three-color lighted mirror, a built-in charging station, seven drawers and an upholstered beige stool. It is aimed at shoppers who want a full dressing station with lighting and outlets in one order. The mirror lighting and charging station are the features that separate it from plain vanities at this level. Assembly is required, and the listed 200 lb max load covers the set as a whole rather than the table alone.

Best forShoppers setting up a first dedicated makeup stationBedrooms with an open outlet nearby for the charging stationBuyers who want drawer storage without buying a separate cabinetAnyone who prefers a lighted mirror over a freestanding lamp
Pros
  • Three-color lighted mirror covers warm, neutral and cool light for makeup
  • Built-in charging station keeps phone and tools powered at the table
  • Seven drawers give more storage than most vanities in this class
  • Upholstered beige stool included, so no separate seat purchase
  • Wood and MDF build with a 0.59 in tabletop
Cons
  • Assembly required, and a seven-drawer set takes time to build
  • MDF and veneer construction, not solid hardwood
  • 200 lb max load is modest once the mirror and drawers are counted
  • Lighting depends on a nearby outlet, so placement is limited
  • Beige seat color limits matching with darker room palettes

Questions and answers

Is the Ktaxon vanity worth it?
If you want a lighted mirror, outlets and seven drawers in one purchase, it covers all three at a budget-furniture level. If you care about solid wood construction, spend more elsewhere.
How long does assembly take?
Expect a couple of hours for one person. The seven drawers and the mirror wiring are the slow parts, so a second pair of hands helps.
Does the mirror need to be plugged in?
Yes. The lighted mirror and the charging station both draw power, so the vanity needs to sit within reach of an outlet.
How big is the stool and who fits it?
The seat height is 16.77 in, which suits most adults at a standard desk-height table. The 200 lb max load covers the set, so keep heavy items off the tabletop.
What is in the box?
The table, the lighted mirror, the upholstered stool and the hardware for assembly. Bulbs and small accessories shown in photos are usually not included.
When is it cheapest?
Vanity sets like this tend to dip during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.
What do buyers say about the Ktaxon Makeup Vanity Set with 3 Color Lighted Mirror and Charging Station?
Rated 4 out of 5 from 15 ratings.
