Is the Ktaxon wooden rocking chair worth it?

At $89.99 it is a cheap way to get a wooden rocker with a 350 lb rating. Expect a basic chair that needs assembly and a cushion, not a heirloom.

Can it stay outside?

It is listed for indoor and outdoor use, but the frame is poplar with a painted finish. Bring it in or cover it in rain and sun to keep the finish intact.

Does it come assembled?

No. Assembly is required. The chair weighs 18.3 lb, so one person can move the box and put it together.

What are the seat dimensions?

The listing gives a 19.3 in seat height with 33.9 in seat width and 33.86 in seat depth. Those width and depth numbers are large for a single rocker, so measure your space before ordering.

Does it include cushions?

No. The chair is not upholstered and no cushion is listed. Add a seat pad if you plan to sit for long stretches.

When is the price lowest?

Only one new price is listed, $89.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026. Watch the price history around holidays and nursery sales for drops.
