Questions and answers

Is the $9,699 Amazon price realistic for a KX185?
No. An 8-ton excavator with a 47.8 kW engine normally sells for many times that figure, new or used. Treat the Amazon listing as unverified and confirm the model, condition and seller before paying.
How does the KX185 compare with the KX080?
The KX185 is the larger machine: about 8.2 t versus roughly 8 t for the KX080, with more dig depth and reach. The KX080 is easier to transport; the KX185 digs deeper and lifts more.
What does 784 running hours mean for condition?
It is low for a 2024 machine, roughly a few months of full-time work. Ask for service records and a video of the machine running before buying.
What is included in the price?
Nothing is stated for this unit. Delivery terms offered are CIP, FOB, CFR, CIF and EXW, so confirm which one applies and whether the 0.35 m³ bucket and shipping are included.
Can it run on a standard US or EU jobsite?
Yes, it is a diesel machine with 450 mm tracks and standard controls. Check that the engine meets your local emissions rules and that the voltage and labeling suit your country.
When is a used KX185 cheapest?
Used prices track hours, year and location more than season. Machines sold EXW in China are cheapest upfront, but you pay freight, duties and inspection costs yourself.
Where is the Kubota KX185 mini excavator cheapest?
At Amazon, for $9,699.00, as of our latest check.
