Questions and answers

Is the Kumho Solus TA11 worth it?
For a budget touring tire, yes. The 75,000-mile warranty and 700 treadwear grade mean long service, and 4.6 out of 5 from 983 ratings backs that up. Skip it if you need winter traction or high-speed capability.
How does it compare with the Solus TA31?
The TA31 is Kumho's higher-performance all-season with a lower treadwear grade and sharper handling. The TA11 trades some grip for longer tread life and a softer ride.
What does 235/65R17 104T mean?
235 is the section width in millimeters, 65 the aspect ratio, R17 the 17-inch rim, 104 the load index (1,984 lb) and T the 118 mph speed rating. Check your door placard to confirm the size fits.
Is this a set of two or four tires?
This listing is a set of two tires. Most vehicles need four, so plan to buy two sets or pair them with matching tires.
Can I use these tires in winter?
They are all-season, not winter, tires. They handle light snow and cold-dry roads, but for regular snow or ice use a dedicated winter or three-peak mountain snowflake tire.
When is the price lowest?
Tire prices dip during spring and fall promotions and around Black Friday. At $254.99 for two at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price tracked, so watch for a second listing to compare.
