Our take on the Kyla Sofa and Chair Gray

The Kyla Sofa and Chair is a gray two-piece seating set with a 75-inch sofa and a matching chair, two polyester toss pillows included. The frame mixes hardwood, plywood and OSB, and the legs are brown plastic/resin. Assembly is listed at under 15 minutes, and the set carries a limited one-year warranty. Seat depth is 20 inches, which is on the shallow side for a full-size sofa.

Questions and answers

Is the Kyla sofa comfortable for everyday sitting?
With a 20-inch seat depth, it suits shorter sitters and upright lounging better than deep reclining. Try it in person if you are tall or want to stretch out.
How long does assembly take?
The listing states under 15 minutes. Expect to attach the legs and possibly the back, so have a second person for the sofa.
What is the frame made of?
A mix of hardwood, plywood and OSB, with brown plastic/resin legs. That is typical for the price range but below all-hardwood construction.
Does it come with pillows?
Yes, two 100% polyester toss pillows are included. The sofa and chair upholstery is also polyester.
What does the warranty cover?
A limited one-year warranty. Keep the receipt, since coverage typically runs from the purchase date.
Will the gray fabric hold up with pets and kids?
Polyester is durable and easy to spot clean, but light gray shows dirt and pet hair. Use a removable cover or throw on the seat if that is a concern.
