It rocks, reclines and assembles in under 15 minutes, which makes it an easy fit for a den or living room. The best new price is $1,069.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against right now.

Questions and answers

Is the La-Z-Boy Joshua Rocker Recliner worth it?
At $1,069.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for a branded rocker recliner with a 4.6 rating from 983 ratings. If you want both rocking and reclining in one chair, it covers both without a power upgrade.
How does it compare with a power recliner?
The Joshua is manual: you push back and use a lever to recline. Power recliners cost more and need an outlet, but they recline with a button and often add USB ports.
How long does assembly take?
La-Z-Boy lists assembly at under 15 minutes. The back typically slides onto the base and the legs attach with a few bolts.
Will it fit in my room?
It measures 40 inches wide, 40 inches deep and 42.5 inches high, with a 22-inch seat depth. Leave clearance behind the chair for the recline to travel.
What is the frame made of?
The leg and frame finish is brown mahogany over engineered wood. That is lighter and less expensive than solid hardwood but not as long-lived.
When is the price lowest?
Only one store lists it new, so there is little price movement to track. Holiday furniture sales and eBay coupon events are the likeliest times for a lower price.
What do buyers say about the La-Z-Boy Joshua Rocker Recliner?
Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 983 ratings.
