Is the Morrison Power Plus worth $1,999.99?

It is a fair price for a three-seat power reclining sofa from La-Z-Boy. Its only recorded price is $1,999.99, so there is no cheaper point in its history to wait for.

Does it need to be plugged in?

Yes. The power recline runs on electric motors, so the sofa needs to sit near an outlet. Plan the layout before delivery.

How wide is it, and will it fit my room?

It is 86 inches wide, 39.5 inches deep and 42 inches tall. Measure your wall and leave clearance behind it for the recline.

How long does assembly take?

La-Z-Boy lists assembly at under 15 minutes. The frame and legs are metal, and the pieces are largely pre-built.

How does it compare with a manual reclining sofa?

Power recline is smoother and easier for people who struggle with a lever, but it adds motors and wiring that can fail. A manual sofa has fewer parts to break.

The only recorded price is $1,999.99, from November 1, 2026. There is no lower price on record yet, so watch for holiday furniture sales.
