Is VITREO worth it over a regular glass cleaner?

Yes if you have bonded mineral spots, wiper haze or oxidation that cleaners cannot shift. For light dust and fingerprints, a normal glass cleaner is cheaper and enough.

Can I use it by hand instead of a rotary?

It is built around a rotary machine and felt pad, and the cut comes from machine action. Hand application will not remove hard water spots or haze well.

Do I need Lubrifica to use it?

Labocosmetica lists Lubrifica as the companion lubricant for the process. Using it keeps the paste workable and reduces the risk of dry buffing on glass.

Will it remove scratches from my windshield?

It is aimed at surface contamination, water spots, oxidation and wiper haze, not deep scratches. Real scratches usually need a dedicated glass scratch kit or replacement.

A 250 g tub of VITREO paste and one special thin felt microfibre pad. The rotary machine and lubricant are not included.

When is the best time to buy it?

Watch the price history for dips; detailing supplies often drop during seasonal sales. Compare across stores rather than buying at the first listing.

Our take on the Labocosmetica VITREO Glass Polish Cut Compound

Labocosmetica VITREO is a 250 g paste glass polish that cuts water spots, mineral stains, oxidation and wiper haze from exterior windows. It is a machine polish for rotary use with the included thin felt microfibre pad, and it doubles as a prep step before glass sealants or coatings. It is sold as a professional-grade product, not a wipe-on consumer cleaner. No current price was supplied, so check the live comparison for where it sits against its recent range.
