Our take on the Lampsmodern Vintage Pleated Pendant Chandelier

A five-light ceiling pendant in brass-finished iron and wood, with pleated shades in a vintage style. It is hardwired, dimmable, and takes five E27 bulbs, which are not included. At 70 cm wide it suits a dining table or kitchen island rather than a small room. It is a dry-location fixture only, so keep it out of bathrooms and covered porches.

Questions and answers

Is it worth it compared with a similar brass chandelier?
It offers five dimmable lights and a 70 cm span at a mid-range price for a brass pleated fixture. The catch is that you supply five E27 bulbs, so factor that in. If you want a wide, vintage look over a dining table, it is a reasonable pick.
What bulbs do I need?
Five E27 bulbs, sold separately. Choose dimmable bulbs if you want to use the dimming function. Warm-white LEDs suit the vintage look and keep running costs low.
Can it be dimmed?
Yes, the fixture is dimmable. You need dimmable bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer. Standard non-dimmable bulbs will flicker or buzz.
Can I install it myself?
It is hardwired, so it needs a ceiling junction box and mains wiring. Unless you are comfortable with electrical work, hire an electrician. It is rated for dry indoor locations only.
How big is it, and will it fit my room?
It is 70 cm wide with five heads. That suits a dining table or kitchen island of roughly 1.5 m or more. In a small room it will look oversized.
What is in the box?
The fixture, shades and mounting hardware. Bulbs are not included. Check the listing for the canopy and chain or rod length before you buy.
