Our take on the Lanbertent Geometric Shag Area Rug 5ft x 8ft

The Lanbertent Geometric Shag Area Rug is a 5 ft x 8 ft rectangular rug in black and white with a geometric pattern, a shag pile and a memory foam layer. It has a non-slip backing, is machine washable and is made from synthetic fibers for indoor use. It is a budget-priced accent rug rather than a heirloom piece, and its 4.4 out of 5 rating comes from only 5 ratings, so the score is thin evidence. No current price was provided, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this rug worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you want a soft, washable accent rug at a low price. Do not expect wool-level durability, and check the current price against its recent range first.
Can it really go in a washing machine?
The listing says it is washable, but a 5 ft x 8 ft shag rug needs a large-capacity machine or a commercial laundromat. Shake it out and vacuum first, and air dry it fully.
Does it stay flat on hardwood floors?
It has a non-slip backing, so it should stay put on most hard floors. On thick carpet or very smooth tile, a rug pad adds extra grip.
What sizes and colors does it come in?
This listing is the 5 ft x 8 ft rectangular version in black and white. Check the brand's other listings for different sizes or colorways.
Is it safe for kids and pets?
It is an indoor synthetic rug with a non-slip back, which suits family rooms. The shag pile does collect pet hair and crumbs, so plan on frequent vacuuming.
When is the best time to buy?
Rug prices often drop during seasonal sales and major shopping events. Track its price history and buy when the current price sits near the low end of its recent range.
What do buyers say about the Lanbertent Geometric Shag Area Rug 5ft x 8ft?
Rated 4.4 out of 5 from 5 ratings.
