Is this comforter warm enough for winter?

It is rated medium warmth and all-season, so it suits most bedrooms but may be light for cold sleepers in winter. Pair it with a blanket in very cold rooms.

Can I machine wash a down comforter?

Yes, Lands' End lists it as machine washable. Use a front-loading machine or a large commercial one, a down-safe detergent, and dry it fully with dryer balls to keep the fill from clumping.

What sizes does it come in?

Twin, Full, Queen and King, with widths from 66 to 107 inches. Match the size to your bed and check the dimensions before buying a duvet cover.

Does it come with a duvet cover or shams?

No. The comforter is sold on its own, so you will need a duvet cover or use it bare.

Is it good for people with allergies?

Lands' End lists it as hypoallergenic and antimicrobial. If you have a diagnosed down allergy, check with your doctor before buying.
