Questions and answers

Is this coat warm enough for winter?
It is a lightweight down coat, so it suits fall, spring and mild winter days. For freezing temperatures you would want a heavier fill or a warm mid-layer.
Does it really pack into its own pocket?
Lands' End markets the Wanderweight line as packable, and the light down fill compresses well. Check the product tag for the specific stuff-sack or pocket instructions.
How does the petite fit run?
The cut is fitted at the waist and close to the body, and petite sizing shortens sleeves and length. Size up if you plan to wear a sweater underneath.
Is it waterproof?
No. The nylon shell and lining are water resistant, which handles drizzle and light snow but not sustained rain.
When is the best time to buy it?
The lowest daily price in the recent window was $124.97 on November 4, 2026, against $209.95 at Walmart the same day. Watch for markdowns outside peak cold-weather weeks.
What sizes are available?
This listing covers petite alpha sizes XS through XL, with numeric 6-8 among them. Confirm the size chart before ordering because the fit is close.
