No. It is manual focus only, with no electronic contacts, so you focus and set aperture on the lens.

Does it cover the whole frame?

Our take on the Laowa 4mm f 2.8 Fisheye Lens

The Laowa 4mm f/2.8 Fisheye is a manual-focus circular fisheye prime for Fujifilm X bodies. Its 4mm focal length gives a full 210-degree circular image, so the frame is a round fisheye circle inside the sensor. It is tiny and light: 7 elements in 6 groups, 4.8 oz, 1.77 inches across, with a minimum focus of about 0.26 ft. At $199 at Adorama as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range, with two stores listing it new.
