Do these sconces come with bulbs?

No. They use E26 base bulbs, which you buy separately. Two warm LED bulbs will add a few dollars to the total.

Are they safe in direct rain?

They are listed as water resistant, not waterproof. Under a porch roof or eave they are fine; fully exposed to driving rain, expect shorter life.

What does the app control actually do?

The specs list app control, but the details are thin. With plain E26 bulbs the fixture itself has no dimming or smart electronics, so plan on smart bulbs if you want app control.

Each fixture is 9.75 inches tall and 6.5 inches deep. Check the space beside your door or garage before ordering a pair.

Is $42.99 a good price for the pair?

It is a low price for two glass lantern sconces; comparable pairs often run higher. Two stores list them new, so compare before buying.

Our take on the Laplusbelle 2-Pack Matte Black Outdoor Wall Sconces

A two-pack of matte black outdoor wall lanterns with clear glass shades, 9.75 inches tall and 6.5 inches deep. They take standard E26 bulbs, so you can fit warm LED bulbs yourself rather than being locked into a built-in module. The listing claims app control, which is unusual at this price and worth verifying before you count on it. At $42.99 for the pair at Amazon as of November 6, 2026, they sit at the low end of what a two-pack of glass lantern sconces costs.
