Our take on the Latitude Run 80.2'' Wide Modern Upholstered Sofa Chenille Couch With Square Armrests

The Latitude Run 80.2-inch chenille sofa is a wide, three-seat upholstered couch with square track armrests and a beige fabric cover. At 80 inches it seats three comfortably and suits living rooms that need a long, low-profile anchor piece. Chenille gives it a soft, slightly velvety hand, though it shows wear and stains more than flat-weave fabrics. It is a budget-to-midrange online-only sofa, so expect assembly and a firmer seat than showroom models.

Questions and answers

Is the Latitude Run chenille sofa worth it?
For a long, soft-fabric couch at an entry price, yes, if you accept chenille's upkeep. If you need a plush, broken-in seat or a stain-proof cover, look at a performance-weave sofa instead.
How many people does an 80-inch sofa seat?
Three adults sit comfortably, and four can squeeze in for a movie. The 80-inch width is roughly a standard three-seat length.
Does chenille hold up with pets and kids?
Chenille is soft but pills and snags, so claws and rough play wear it faster than a tight woven fabric. A slipcover or throw on the seat helps.
What is the seat height and depth?
The listing gives only the 80-inch length and track-arm style, so confirm seat height and depth with the seller before ordering. Seat height matters most if anyone in the house is tall or has knee issues.
How hard is it to assemble?
Expect to attach the arms and legs and possibly connect sections. Two people make it easier, and an 80-inch frame is awkward to flip alone.
When is the best time to buy it?
Online furniture discounts cluster around holiday sales and long weekends. Check the price history on this page before buying so you know whether the current price is low for this couch.
