Does this daybed need a box spring?

No. It ships with 10 slats and is listed as not requiring a box spring. A standard mattress sits directly on the slats.

What mattress size fits it?

The 78.9'' length and 57.9'' width suit a full-size mattress. Measure your mattress against those figures before ordering, since the corner shape leaves little slack.

How much storage do the drawers give?

There are two drawers under the bed. They are shallow under-bed drawers, best for bedding, clothes or small items rather than bulky storage.

How much assembly does it take?

Assembly is required. The frame uses manufactured wood, MDF and particle board, so plan for a couple of hours and two people to line up the panels and slats.

Is $519.99 a good price?

Only one new price is listed, $519.99 at Wayfair as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. Check the price history before buying to see whether it has dropped lower.

How much weight does it hold?

The bed is rated for 400 lbs. That covers the mattress and sleepers on the slat platform.
