Our take on the Latitude Run Dereon Square Arm Polyester Sofa

The Latitude Run Dereon is a 90-inch, three-seat sofa with square track arms, a pillow back and a wood frame wrapped in polyester upholstery. Its size and price bracket make it a budget option for a large living room or family room rather than a compact apartment. The listing shows a 4 out of 5 rating from 92 ratings, so owner feedback is limited but broadly positive. It is a Wayfair house brand, so the sofa is sold mainly through that one channel.

Best forLarge living rooms and family roomsHouseholds that want a long, three-seat sofa on a budgetBuyers who prefer a firm, structured track-arm lookRenters or first-time furnishing where a long lifespan is not critical
Pros
  • 90 inches wide seats three with room to spare
  • Square track arms and pillow back give a clean, tailored look
  • Wood frame is a sturdier base than particleboard-only builds
  • Polyester upholstery resists stains and is easy to spot clean
  • Neutral fabric and simple shape fit many decor styles
Cons
  • 35-inch depth is shallow for lounging or tall users
  • Pillow-back cushions need regular fluffing and lose shape
  • Polyester can feel warm and shows pilling over time
  • House-brand sofa means limited color and fabric choices
  • No information on cushion foam density or seat height

Questions and answers

Is the Dereon sofa worth it?
At a house-brand price it is a reasonable pick if you need a long sofa and accept a shorter lifespan than a premium brand. Check the current price against its recent range before buying.
How does it compare with a typical two-cushion sofa?
It is 90 inches wide, so it seats three where most two-cushion sofas seat two. The trade-off is a 35-inch depth, which is shallower than many lounge sofas.
Is it good for a small apartment?
Probably not. At 90 inches wide and 35 inches deep it needs a wall of roughly 8 feet and clearance in front, which is tight in small rooms.
What is the frame and upholstery made of?
The frame is wood and the upholstery is polyester fabric. Polyester is stain-resistant and easy to clean but can feel warm and may pill over time.
Does it come assembled?
It typically ships with the arms or legs to attach, so expect light assembly. Confirm the box dimensions before ordering if delivery access is tight.
When is it cheapest?
Wayfair house brands usually drop during major sale events and clearance cycles. Track the price history here and buy when it sits near the low end of its recent range.
What do buyers say about the Latitude Run Dereon Square Arm Polyester Sofa?
Rated 4 out of 5 from 92 ratings.
