Is this bartender kit worth it for a beginner?

Yes, if you want one purchase that covers shaking, measuring, muddling and straining. A beginner will use most of the 14 pieces within the first few cocktails.

What comes in the 14-piece kit?

The set includes a shaker, jigger, muddler and strainer, plus the remaining bar tools that make up the 14 pieces. Check the full piece list before buying if you need a specific tool.

Does it include a jigger and a strainer?

Yes. A jigger and a strainer are both listed as included, along with a muddler.

How does it compare with buying tools separately?

A kit is cheaper and simpler than buying each tool alone, but individual pro-grade pieces will be heavier and last longer. For home use a few times a month, the kit is the better value.

When is the best time to buy it?

Bar kits often drop around holiday sales and wedding season. Check the price history to see whether the current price is near its low.
