Our take on the Lcm Home Down Alternative

The LCM Home Down Alternative is a king-size blanket made of polyester microfiber, sized 90 by 108 inches in solid black. It is a single-piece, machine-washable layer meant to mimic the loft of down without feathers. At $45.99 at Pick Your Plum as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range across the three stores that carry it new.

Questions and answers

Is this blanket warm enough for winter?
Yes for most sleepers. The polyester fill is designed to trap warmth like down, though hot sleepers may find it too warm year-round.
Does it fit a king bed?
It measures 90 by 108 inches, which covers a standard king mattress with room to drape over the sides and foot.
Is it safe for people with down allergies?
Yes. It uses polyester microfiber fill with no feathers, so it avoids the usual down allergens.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. Avoid high heat, which can clump the fill.
Is $45.99 a good price?
It is the lowest of the three new prices tracked and sits at the low end of its recent range, so it is a solid buy at that price.
Does it come with a duvet cover?
No. It is a single finished blanket, so no cover is needed, and none is included.
Where is the Lcm Home Down Alternative cheapest?
