Our take on the Lefondat 18V Airless Paint Sprayer 2000 PSI

The Lefondat 18V Airless Paint Sprayer is a handheld, battery-powered airless unit rated at 2000 psi with a 550 mL/min flow rate and a 1.2 L cup. It ships with five nozzles and runs on an 18V lithium-ion battery, so it works without a cord or hose. That combination is unusual: most true airless sprayers at 2000 psi are corded or gas units, and most handheld battery sprayers are low-pressure air or HVLP types. No current price was available to compare against its recent range.

Pros
  • True airless design at a claimed 2000 psi, enough for thick latex when thinned
  • Cordless 18V lithium-ion power suits ladders and outdoor jobs
  • 1.2 L cup covers a fair amount before refilling
  • Five nozzles included, so you can match tip size to the coating
  • Handheld format is far easier to store and carry than a floor unit
Cons
  • Battery runtime at 2000 psi will be short; expect frequent swaps on big jobs
  • A 1.2 L cup means many refills on walls and ceilings
  • Handheld weight plus pressure makes long passes tiring
  • No established track record for this brand on service or parts
  • Thick paints may need thinning to flow through the small cup setup

Questions and answers

Is 2000 psi enough for latex wall paint?
Yes, 2000 psi is in the range real airless units use for latex, though you may need to thin thick paint slightly and pick the right nozzle. Flow rate is 550 mL/min, so coverage is slower than a full-size corded unit.
How long does the 18V battery last?
Lefondat does not publish a runtime figure, and it depends heavily on paint thickness and nozzle size. Expect short runs at full pressure; buy a spare battery if you plan to spray more than a small room.
What is in the box?
The sprayer, five nozzles and a 1.2 L cup. Battery and charger inclusion is not confirmed in the listed specs, so check before ordering.
Can I use it for cabinets and trim?
Yes, with a fine nozzle and thinned paint it can handle doors, trim and cabinet boxes. Practice on scrap first, since handheld airless units are prone to runs on vertical surfaces.
How does it compare with a corded airless sprayer?
Corded units run continuously, hold more paint and cost less per psi, but they need power and a hose. This one trades runtime and capacity for portability.
When is it cheapest?
No price history was available for this model, so there is no reliable seasonal low to point to. Compare across stores before buying rather than waiting for a known sale window.
