Is the Arkham Asylum set worth it?

If you collect Batman LEGO and want a large display piece with a deep minifigure roster, it delivers. If you mainly want play value for kids, a smaller Batman set costs far less.

How many minifigures are included?

16: Batman, Batwoman, Batwing, Robin, Mr. Freeze, The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Bane, The Joker, The Penguin, Killer Croc and two security guards.

How many pieces and how long is the build?

2,953 pieces across 24 numbered bags. Most adult builders should plan several evenings, and the bag structure lets you stop between floors.

Does it come apart for access?

Yes. The model splits into first floor, second floor and roof, and removable elements open up the interior, including the opening prison cells.

Are the details stickers or printed?

The 65 Batman-lore references are stickers, not printed bricks. That is the most common complaint from owners.

Is it suitable for kids?

It is sold as a set for adults. The size, piece count and display-focused build suit older teens and adults more than young children.

Our take on the LEGO DC 76300 Arkham Asylum Building Set

LEGO DC Batman Arkham Asylum (76300) is a 2,953-piece adult display set of the legendary institution, split into three removable segments: first floor, second floor and roof. It packs 16 minifigures, from Batman and Robin to The Joker, Harley Quinn and Killer Croc, plus an inmate delivery van, opening prison cells and 65 lore stickers. The 24 numbered bags let you build it section by section, which some buyers treat as a Batman advent calendar. It sits in LEGO's adult collector range, so expect a display piece rather than a play set for young kids.
