Is the LEGO Jack-O'-Lantern Pickup Truck worth $27?

It is a small 177-piece set, so you are paying for the Halloween theme more than the brick count. If you want a seasonal display or a quick gift, $27.00 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026 is the only new price listed.

What age is this set for?

LEGO recommends it for ages 8 and up. The 177 pieces are few enough that most kids that age can finish it in one sitting.

How many pieces does it have?

177 pieces. That makes it a short build, roughly a single session for most builders.

Is it a good Halloween decoration?

Yes, the jack-o'-lantern is the centerpiece, so it reads as Halloween decor once built. It is small, so plan on a shelf, desk or entry table rather than a yard display.

When is the best time to buy it?

Halloween sets often get discounted right after October 31. As of November 5, 2026 the best new price is $27.00 at Walmart, and only one store lists it, so watch for post-season markdowns.

Where is the LEGO Jack-O'-Lantern Pickup Truck cheapest?

Our take on the LEGO Jack-O'-Lantern Pickup Truck

The LEGO Jack-O'-Lantern Pickup Truck (set 40822) is a 177-piece Halloween-themed build for ages 8 and up. It pairs a small pickup truck with an oversized jack-o'-lantern, so it works as a seasonal display piece as much as a toy. At $27.00 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper store to compare against right now.
