Is the RTX 5070 enough for 240Hz gaming?

For esports titles like Valorant or CS2, yes, the 5070 can push high frame rates at lower settings. For demanding AAA games at native resolution, expect well under 240 fps, so DLSS and lower settings are needed to use the full refresh rate.

Is 32GB of RAM worth it over 16GB?

Yes for this class of machine. Modern games and background apps can exceed 16GB, and the two SODIMM slots mean you can upgrade later, but starting at 32GB avoids that cost.

How is battery life on the OLED model?

The 80Wh battery is average for a gaming laptop. Light browsing may last several hours, but gaming on the 240Hz OLED panel will drain it in roughly an hour or two, so keep the 245W adapter nearby.

Can I upgrade the storage and memory?

Yes. It ships with 1TB in an M.2 2242 slot and two SODIMM slots filled with 16GB modules, so both can be swapped. Check whether the second M.2 slot takes a longer 2280 drive before buying an upgrade.

Is $2,879.27 a good price?

Only one new price is listed, $2,879.27 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, so there is no competing new offer to benchmark against. Comparable RTX 5070 laptops often sell for less, so compare specs carefully before paying this.

What comes in the box?

Expect the laptop, the 245W slim-tip power adapter and standard paperwork. Lenovo does not usually include a mouse or sleeve with Legion models.

Our take on the Lenovo Legion RTX 5070 laptop with a 240Hz OLED display

A 16-inch-class Lenovo Legion gaming laptop built around an NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPU and a 240Hz OLED display, with a 32GB DDR5 kit, 1TB PCIe 5.0 SSD and Wi-Fi 7. It weighs about 4.25 lbs and runs on an 80Wh battery with a 245W adapter. The only new price listed is $2,879.27 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, with no other new sellers to compare against. That is a premium figure for RTX 5070 hardware, so the OLED panel and 240Hz refresh are what you are paying for.
