Is the Lenovo LOQ 17.3-inch good for gaming?

Yes for 1080p gaming. The RTX 5050 and i5-13450HX run current titles at medium to high settings, and 16 GB of RAM covers most games. Expect to lower settings on the heaviest new releases.

Is a 17.3-inch laptop too big to carry?

It is heavy and bulky compared with 14- or 15-inch laptops, so it fits best as a desk machine that occasionally moves. Daily commuting with it in a backpack gets old fast.

Can I upgrade the RAM and storage?

LOQ laptops generally have accessible memory slots and an M.2 slot, so RAM and SSD can be upgraded. Check the specific configuration's service manual before buying parts.

Is $1,199.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026, at Newegg, so there is no recent low to compare it with. Comparable 17-inch RTX 5050 laptops often sell in a similar range, so it is fair rather than a standout deal.

Does it come with Windows 11?

Yes, Windows 11 Home is preinstalled. No separate license purchase is needed.

Is the 1080p screen sharp enough at 17.3 inches?

It is usable but not sharp. At this size individual pixels are visible, and text looks less crisp than on a 15-inch 1080p panel or a 1440p 17-inch screen.

Where is the Lenovo LOQ 17.3-inch Laptop cheapest?
