Is $1,999 a good price for this LG washer and gas dryer set?

At $1,999 from Made Appliance Outlet as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end for a stacked 5.0 cu. ft. washer with a 7.4 cu. ft. gas dryer. Seven stores list it new, so compare before buying.

Does this set need a gas line?

Yes. The dryer is gas-powered, so you need a gas hookup and proper venting. A qualified installer should make the connection.

How much space does the stacked pair need?

The units are 27 inches wide and 32.6 inches deep. Leave clearance behind for the vent and hoses, and check ceiling height for the stacked dryer.

Can I use the washer and dryer separately instead of stacked?

Yes. The pair can be placed side by side if you have the floor space, though the set is sold and marketed as a stackable pair.

Are these machines smart?

Yes. Both are smart and can connect to the LG app for remote start, cycle monitoring and diagnostics.

Is the washer really 5.0 cu. ft.?

The listing names a 5.0 cu. ft. washer, but one spec line shows 7.4 cu. ft. for the washer. Confirm the washer capacity with the store before ordering.
