Is the LG C5 worth it over the C4?

The C5 is an incremental update over the C4, so a discounted C4 is often the better value. Buy the C5 if the price gap is small or you want the newest panel and processor.

Is 144Hz useful for consoles?

The 144Hz panel mainly benefits PC gamers. PS5 and Xbox Series X cap at 120Hz, which the TV also supports with VRR.

Burn-in is possible with repeated static images like news tickers or game HUDs. Varying content and using the TV's screen-shift and pixel-refresh features lowers the risk.

The TV, stand, magic remote and power cable are included. A wall mount and HDMI cables are not.

Our take on the LG 55-Inch OLED C5 Series

The LG C5 is LG's 2025 OLED evo 4K TV, the successor to the long-running C-series. It pairs per-pixel OLED contrast with a 144Hz panel, four HDMI ports, VRR and HDR support, aimed at movies and gaming on one screen.
