Is the LG B4 worth it over the C4?

If you watch mostly in a dark room and want the lowest OLED price, the B4 is the better value. The C4 is brighter and has a stronger processor, which matters in a bright room or for heavy upscaling of cable and older content.

Does the B4 support 4K at 120 Hz for PS5 and Xbox Series X?

Yes. It has a 120 Hz panel and HDMI 2.1 ports, and it supports VRR and ALLM, so 4K/120 gaming works on compatible consoles and PCs.

What sizes does the B4 come in?

48, 55, 65 and 77 inches. The 48-inch is the smallest and is popular for bedrooms and desks; the 77-inch costs far more.

Is the B4 bright enough for a sunny living room?

It is the dimmest OLED in LG's 2024 lineup. In a room with strong daylight or direct window glare, the C4 or a bright mini-LED LCD is the safer choice.

The TV, its stand, a magic remote and the power cable. A wall mount and HDMI cables are not included.

When is the B4 cheapest?

OLED prices fall hardest around Black Friday and in the weeks before the Super Bowl. The 55 and 65 inch models see the deepest discounts; the 48-inch moves less.

Our take on the LG B4 OLED 4K Smart TV (2024)

The LG B4 is LG's entry-level OLED for 2024, sold in 48, 55, 65 and 77 inches. It uses a 120 Hz OLED panel with four HDMI 2.1 ports, so it suits PS5 and Xbox Series X at 4K/120, and it runs webOS with Google Assistant, Alexa and Siri support. It skips the brighter MLA panel and the a9 processor of the C4, so it peaks lower in HDR and has fewer processing tricks. As the entry OLED, it is the cheapest way into LG's 2024 OLED line; watch for it to drop further around Black Friday and Super Bowl season.
