Is this pair worth it at $1,899.98?

That is about $950 per machine, which is mid-range for LG front-load pairs. With only one store listing it new as of November 3, 2026, check whether buying the washer and dryer separately costs less.

Can the washer and dryer be stacked?

Yes. Both are 27 inches wide and the set is listed as stacking, but you usually need LG's stacking kit, which is often sold separately. Confirm the kit is included before ordering.

Does the dryer need a gas line?

No. It is an electric dryer, so it needs a 240V outlet. If your laundry room only has a gas hookup, this pair will not work without an electrician.

What can I do with the smart features?

The LG ThinQ app lets you start and monitor cycles remotely and run diagnostics. It does not add wash performance, so treat it as convenience.

When is this pair cheapest?

Appliance pairs usually drop during Black Friday, Memorial Day and Labor Day sales. The listed price is $1,899.98 at Keith's Appliances as of November 3, 2026, so compare around those events.
