Does the Curacao DLX need a 230 V outlet?

Yes. It runs on 230 V, so you need a dedicated circuit, usually installed by an electrician. It will not run on a standard 120 V household outlet.

It is rated for 5 people, with a footprint of 87 in wide by 77 in long. Four adults sit comfortably with room to spare.

Is $3,899 a good price?

It is the only new price listed and sits at the top of its recent range as of November 8, 2026. Waiting for a sale is reasonable if you are not in a hurry.

How does it compare with a hard-sided acrylic tub?

It costs far less and sets up faster, but an acrylic tub insulates better and lasts longer. Choose this one if budget and portability matter more.

What do owners complain about most?

Heat loss in cold weather and the quality of the included cover. Budget for a better cover if you live somewhere with hard winters.
