The LifeStraw Go Series Outdoorsman is a 24-ounce stainless steel water bottle with a built-in hollow-fiber filter in the straw. It removes bacteria, parasites and microplastics from tap, stream or lake water as you drink, so you can refill almost anywhere. The steel body keeps water colder than the plastic Go bottles and stands up to trail use. It is a heavier, pricier bottle than a plain insulated one, and the filter needs periodic backflushing and eventual replacement.

Owners rate it well, with 4.4 out of 5 from 13 ratings. Most praise the steel build and the convenience of drinking filtered water straight from the straw. Complaints center on the slower flow through the filter and the weight.
