Is this garland battery or plug-in?

It is plug-in, so you need an outlet within reach of the cord. Plan the placement around a nearby socket or an extension cord.

Only in covered areas. It is rated for indoor or outdoor covered use, so keep it out of direct rain and snow.

How long is it and how wide?

It is 7 feet long and about 10 inches wide. That is enough to drape a standard mantel with some swag at each end.

Is $139.99 a good price?

It is the best new price across 5 stores as of November 7, 2026, but it is at the top of its recent range. Waiting for a holiday markdown is reasonable if you are not in a hurry.

The Real Touch foliage is the main selling point and is designed to mimic live Norfolk pine needles. Expect a softer, more natural look than standard artificial garland.

Can I use it as a table runner?

Yes. The listing describes it as a garland and table runner, so it works laid flat along a table or sideboard.

Our take on the Light Up Norfolk Pine Garland

A 7-foot pre-lit Norfolk pine garland with Real Touch foliage, made for mantels, tables and covered porches. It is plug-in, so it needs an outlet nearby, and the 10-inch width gives it a full, layered look. At $139.99 at The Home Depot as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, so it is not a markdown moment.
