Is the Lindyn ottoman worth it?

If you want a large, textured centerpiece that works as both footrest and table substitute, it earns its place. Skip it if you need storage or a soft, sink-in cushion.

Does it have storage inside?

No. The listing shows a 28 cu. ft storage capacity, but the product itself has no storage compartment. Plan on using trays on top for remotes and magazines.

How big is it compared with a standard ottoman?

At 51 inches wide and deep and 20 inches tall, it is roughly twice the footprint of a typical 30-inch ottoman. Measure your room and walking paths before ordering.

What is the upholstery made of and how do I clean it?

The cover is polyester cord fabric over a foam and poly fiber cushion. Vacuum it regularly and blot spills promptly with a mild detergent solution; avoid soaking the cord texture.

Can it be used as a seat?

Yes, it seats one adult comfortably and the corner-blocked frame supports sitting. It is firm, so it suits short sits rather than lounging.

When is the best time to buy it?

Furniture promotions cluster around major holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Track the price history here and buy when it dips below its recent range.

Our take on the Lindyn Ivory Oversized Accent Ottoman

The Lindyn Oversized Accent Ottoman is a 51-inch square upholstered ottoman from Signature Design by Ashley, sold under the Lindyn collection name. It stands out for its textured cord upholstery in a warm ivory tone, a corner-blocked frame, and a firm foam-and-poly-fiber cushion big enough to serve as a coffee table substitute or a single extra seat. At 20 inches tall and 61 pounds, it is a substantial piece meant to anchor a living room rather than tuck into a corner. It has no storage despite listing a storage capacity figure, so treat it as pure seating and surface space.

What reviewers say

With a 4.8 out of 5 average across 65 ratings, owners largely report the ottoman looks and feels more expensive than it is. The soft cord fabric and large size come up often as the reasons people are happy with it.

Fabric feels soft and looks high-end
Size is large enough to double as a coffee table
Sturdy frame with little wobble
