Is the Linsay Core good for kids?

It works for light use like videos, games and reading, and 256GB holds plenty of content. The 5-hour battery means charging during the day, and the screen is low resolution.

How long does the battery last?

The rating is about 5 hours. That is short for a tablet, so plan on charging most days and carry a charger for travel.

Is the screen sharp enough for reading?

1280x800 on a 10.1-inch screen is about 149 pixels per inch, which is soft for small text. It is fine for video and large text.

Does it have cellular data?

No. It is Wi-Fi only, so you need a hotspot or Wi-Fi network away from home.

Expect the tablet and a charger. Check the listing for the exact accessories before buying.
