Our take on the LITINKIMI Metal Coated Ambient Light Rejecting Projection Screen, Visual Display for Business Presentations and Classroom Use

This is a thin PVC sheet with a metal coating, sized about 63 by 35 inches (a 16:9 viewing area of 159 x 90 cm). It is meant to reject ambient light and give a brighter, more even picture than a plain white wall, and it rolls or folds for transport. At 0.64 lb it is light enough to hang with tape or clips. No current price or price history was provided, so there is no way to say whether the asking price is good.

Pros
  • Ambient-light-rejecting metal coating boosts contrast in lit rooms
  • Very light at 0.64 lb; easy to carry and hang
  • Large 159 x 90 cm 16:9 viewing area for its weight
  • Works indoors or outdoors
  • Rolls or folds flat for storage
Cons
  • Thin PVC sheet with no frame or tensioning, so edges can curl
  • No mounting hardware described
  • Ambient-light rejection is limited without a rigid, flat surface behind it
  • Smaller brands like this have little independent testing

Questions and answers

Is this screen worth it over a white wall?
If your room has daylight or lamps on, a metal-coated screen can hold contrast better than a painted wall. In a dark room the gain is small, and a flat wall is fine.
How big is the picture area?
The viewing area is 159 x 90 cm, about 62.6 x 35.4 inches, a 16:9 shape. That suits a small-to-mid projector at close seating distance.
Does it come with a frame or mounting kit?
The listing describes only the PVC sheet itself. Plan on tape, clips or a rigid backing board to keep it flat.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes, it is listed for outdoor and indoor use. Keep it out of rain and wind, since a 0.64 lb sheet will flap without a solid backing.
What projector resolution suits it?
At this size, 1080p looks sharp from normal seating. A 4K projector works too, but the screen's coating, not resolution, will limit perceived contrast.
