The Monkey Tail Cactus (Cleistocactus colademononis) is a trailing cactus with long, soft, white-haired stems that hang down like a monkey's tail. It is grown for its unusual look rather than flowers, and it suits hanging baskets and tall shelves where the stems can spill. Stems can reach up to 10 feet over many years, though plants ship small. Its best new price is $30.00 at Mari's Gardens as of November 6, 2026, with 6 stores selling it new.
