Questions and answers

Is the Lloyd gel fireplace worth it?
It suits shoppers who want a real flame without a vent or gas line. If you need serious heat, a 9,000 BTU gel unit won't replace a space heater.
How much heat does it put out?
It is rated 9,000 BTU with radiant heat, enough to take the chill off a small room or patio. It won't heat a large open space.
Can I use it indoors?
Yes, it is ventless and listed for indoor and outdoor use. Gel fuel still produces some fumes, so keep a window or door cracked.
What fuel does it take?
It burns canned gel fuel, lit with a match. You'll need to restock cans, and burn time depends on the can size.
Does it need assembly or installation?
It is freestanding, so no venting or gas hookup is required. Expect to attach the glass and base on arrival.
How big is it?
It measures about 44 inches high, 26 inches wide and 26 inches deep, and weighs 31 lbs.
