Is the Lofka 47 inch pantry cabinet worth it?

At $79.86 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap way to add eight shelves and two drawers. Expect MDF and a few hours of assembly rather than furniture-grade build.

How much assembly does it need?

It ships flat and must be built, including doors, drawers and the anti-tip bracket. Plan on a couple of hours and a second person to stand it upright.

Will it fit in a small kitchen?

It is 23.7 inches wide, 15.7 inches deep and 47.2 inches tall, so it fits a narrow wall gap. The shallow depth means cereal boxes and large bins may not fit on the shelves.

Can it be used outside the kitchen?

Yes. The waterproof painted finish and neutral look suit bathrooms, entryways, bedrooms and offices. Anchor it to the wall anywhere children or pets could pull on it.

When is the best time to buy it?

The current $79.86 at Walmart is already near the bottom of its recent range. Watch for holiday furniture sales if you can wait, but there is little room left to fall.

Pros

Eight shelves plus two drawers give a lot of divided storage for the footprint
Soft-close magnetic doors and cut-out handles keep the front clean
Drawers run on metal slide tracks rather than wood-on-wood
Waterproof painted surface wipes clean in kitchens and bathrooms
Anti-tip device included for anchoring to the wall
$79.86 at Walmart is a low price for a cabinet this tall

Cons

MDF construction, not solid wood; heavy and prone to swelling if water gets into seams
Assembly required, and flat-pack cabinets of this size take time and two people
15.7-inch depth limits what fits; deep appliances and large bins won't go in
Only 12 ratings, so the 4.4 score rests on a small sample
Cut-out handles can't be swapped for standard pulls
