Our take on the Losei 64MP 4K Digital Camera with 32GB Card

The Losei is a budget point-and-shoot that advertises a 64MP sensor, 4K video, 18x zoom and image stabilization, plus a 32GB card in the box. The 18x figure is digital zoom, not optical, so expect soft, grainy images when zoomed in. The 2.8-inch screen and 8 oz body make it small and light enough to slip in a pocket. At $26.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, and only two stores list it new.

Questions and answers

Is the Losei 64MP camera worth it?
At $26.95 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is worth it only as a cheap first camera or a knockaround snapshot tool. Do not expect smartphone-beating photos.
Is the 18x zoom optical or digital?
It is digital zoom, so it crops and enlarges the image rather than magnifying optically. Photos get noticeably softer as you zoom in.
Does it really shoot 64MP photos?
The spec sheet says 64MP, but the small sensor limits real detail. Expect results closer to a basic phone camera in good light.
What comes in the box?
The camera ships with a 32GB memory card. Check the listing for a charger, cable and strap, since bundles vary by seller.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, it is light at 8 oz and simple to use, and the low price makes it low-risk if it gets dropped. Image quality is basic.
When is it cheapest?
