Our take on the Lucas Oil Slick Mist Detailing Kit

The Lucas Oil Slick Mist Detailing Kit bundles three spray products for quick exterior and interior cleanup: Speed Wax, Interior Detailer and Tire & Trim Shine, plus a microfiber towel. Speed Wax works as either a traditional wax or a quick detail spray, and the interior formula covers plastic, vinyl, leather, rubber and metal. The kit is VOC-free and aimed at enthusiasts and pros who want a fast wipe-down between full washes. At $24.99 at Hawks Motorsports as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range across the five stores that list it new.

Questions and answers

Is the Slick Mist kit worth it over buying bottles separately?
At $24.99 at Hawks Motorsports as of November 4, 2026, the bundle costs less than buying Speed Wax, Interior Detailer and Tire & Trim Shine on their own at most stores. You also get a microfiber towel. If you only need one product, a single bottle is the better buy.
Can Speed Wax replace a traditional wax?
Lucas Oil says Speed Wax works as either a traditional wax or a quick detail spray. It gives gloss and slickness fast, but expect shorter durability than a paste or liquid wax, so reapply every few washes.
Is the Interior Detailer safe on leather and screens?
It is formulated for plastic, vinyl, leather, rubber and metal. Wipe leather and coated surfaces with a microfiber towel and avoid soaking seams. Test on an inconspicuous spot first on delicate finishes.
How long does Tire & Trim Shine last?
Lucas Oil describes it as long-lasting on tires. Real-world life depends on rain and driving; most users reapply every few weeks. Apply thin and wipe off excess to avoid sling.
What is in the box?
The kit includes Speed Wax, Interior Detailer, a 710 mL bottle of Tire & Trim Shine and a microfiber towel. Check the listing for exact bottle sizes of the wax and interior spray.
When is the kit cheapest?
The best new price seen is $24.99 at Hawks Motorsports as of November 4, 2026, across five stores. Bundle kits often drop during seasonal car-care sales in spring and around holidays.
