Questions and answers

Is this set worth it for a 3-year-old?: Yes, if the child is past mouthing toys. The pieces are small, so supervise play and keep them away from younger siblings.
How big are the dinosaur figures?: The figures are small toddler-hand size, and the box measures about 3.4 x 3.4 x 9.6 inches. Expect pieces closer to palm size than to large action figures.
What can kids actually do with 48 dinosaurs?: Count them, sort by color or type, line them up and use them in pretend play. There is no mat, chart or guide included, so parents usually make up the games.
Is it safe for a child under 3?: No. The minimum recommended age is 3 years because the small pieces pose a choking risk.
Does it come with a storage box?: Only the dinosaur toys are listed as included. Plan on a bin or bag to keep the 48 pieces together.
When is the best time to buy it?: Watch the price around back-to-school and holiday sales, when toy sets like this are often discounted. Check the price history before buying.
What do buyers say about the Lucky Doug 48 Counting Dinosaur Toys for Toddlers?: Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 28 ratings.
