Is a 25 oz shaker big enough for two drinks?

Yes. A 25 oz cobbler shaker holds roughly two to three cocktails at once, depending on how much ice you use. For single drinks it leaves plenty of room to shake.

Does this shaker come with a strainer or jigger?

The listed contents are just the shaker itself, with no strainer, jigger or other tools mentioned. Plan to buy a separate Hawthorne strainer and jigger if you do not have them.

Is stainless steel better than glass or plastic for a shaker?

Stainless steel is the standard for shakers. It chills quickly, resists breaking and does not absorb odors the way plastic can. Glass shakers look nice but can crack under shaking.

How do I stop a cobbler shaker from sticking?

Tap the top of the shaker with the heel of your hand to break the seal, and avoid over-tightening the cap before shaking. Rinsing with warm water after each use also keeps the threads clean.

When is the best time to buy a cocktail shaker set?

Prices tend to dip around the winter holidays and again in late spring, when barware goes on sale. Watch the price history for a drop below the recent range before buying.
