Is the Lugz Convoy actually waterproof?

No. Lugz calls it water resistant, which means it sheds rain and light splashes but will soak through in standing water or deep slush.

Is $49.99 a good price for these boots?

It is the only new price listed as of November 3, 2026, at shoebacca.com, so there is no cheaper store to compare against. At under $50 it is in line with what budget water-resistant boots cost.

How does the Convoy fit compared to other Lugz boots?

The 6-inch lace-up shaft gives a snugger, more adjustable fit than pull-on styles. Buyers report inconsistent sizing, so try them on or check the store's return policy before ordering.

Can I wear these for work all day?

For light outdoor work and casual wear, yes. The low heel and padded collar help, but they are not a safety toe or heavy-duty work boot.

One pair of boots. Laces come fitted; no extra insoles or care products are included.

When is the best time to buy?

Boot prices usually dip in late winter and early spring clearance. With only one store listing them new, watch that listing rather than waiting for a store-to-store price war.

Our take on the Lugz Men's Convoy Water Resistant 6 Inch Lace Up Boots

The Lugz Convoy is a 6-inch lace-up work-style boot with a water-resistant upper, a low 1-2 inch heel and an ankle-height shaft. It is a budget boot built for slush, rain and light outdoor work rather than heavy construction. The best new price is $49.99 at shoebacca.com as of November 3, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.
