Our take on the Lumintop Pixel RGB EDC Flashlight

The Lumintop Pixel is a small everyday-carry flashlight built around a 1,300-lumen main LED plus RGB and UV side lights. It is aimed at people who want one pocket light for white light, colored light and UV marking or leak checks. It is heavier than many keychain lights at 5.6 oz and is styled as a tactical light in orange. The 7 ratings on record average 5 out of 5, so buyer feedback is limited but positive.

Best forEveryday carry in a pocket or bagUV leak checks and fluorescent dye workCamping and night-time signalingBuyers who want one light with RGB and white output
Pros
  • 1,300-lumen maximum output is strong for its size
  • RGB side lights add color and signaling options
  • UV light is useful for leak detection and curing
  • Adjustable beam lets you widen or focus the spot
  • Orange body is easy to find in a bag or on the ground
Cons
  • 5.6 oz is heavy for a pocket light
  • RGB and UV modes drain the battery faster than white light
  • Tactical styling and orange finish are not for everyone
  • Few ratings so far, so long-term reliability is unproven

Questions and answers

Is the Lumintop Pixel worth it?
It is worth it if you want white, RGB and UV light in one small body. If you only need a bright white beam, a simpler light costs less and weighs less.
How bright is it and how long does the battery last?
It peaks at 1,300 lumens. Runtime at that level is short, and you should expect much longer runtimes on the lower white and colored modes.
What is the UV light for?
The UV mode works for leak detection with fluorescent dye, checking currency and IDs, and curing some UV resins. It is not a substitute for a dedicated high-power UV lamp.
How does it compare with a plain EDC flashlight?
It adds RGB and UV modes and an adjustable beam, but it weighs more at 5.6 oz. A plain 1,300-lumen light is lighter and simpler.
What comes in the box?
Expect the light itself plus a battery and charging cable, with a pocket clip or lanyard. Check the listing for the exact included accessories before you buy.
When is it cheapest?
Multi-mode lights like this usually drop during holiday sales and brand promotions. Compare the price history before buying rather than paying full price.
What do buyers say about the Lumintop Pixel RGB EDC Flashlight?
Rated 5 out of 5 from 7 ratings.
