Is the two-pack worth it over a single protector?

If you wash bedding weekly, yes. A spare means the bed is never bare while one cover is in the laundry, and the per-unit cost is usually lower than buying two singles.

Will it fit a mattress with a topper?

It fits mattresses up to 16 inches deep. A thick topper can push you past that, so measure the total height before buying.

Does it actually feel cooling?

It is a thin, breathable layer, but the fabric is polyester and nylon, not a phase-change or bamboo material. Expect it to sleep close to a standard protector, not dramatically cooler.

Machine wash and tumble dry. Wash with like colors and avoid high heat to protect the waterproof backing.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

It carries OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification, which means it has been tested for harmful substances. That is a useful signal, though not a medical guarantee.

Two-packs like this tend to dip during bedding sales and back-to-school events. Check the price history before buying.

Our take on the Lux Decor Collection 2 Pack Queen Size Cooling Mattress Protector

A two-pack of queen-size waterproof mattress protectors made from a 60% polyester, 40% nylon blend with a breathable, odor-resistant backing. They fit mattresses up to 16 inches deep and carry OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification. Both are machine washable and tumble dry. The two-pack format is the main draw: you get a spare for wash day at a per-unit price below most single protectors.
