Is the M8trix Dreamer good for a beginner kid?

It can work, but camber is less forgiving than a rocker board for a first season. A true beginner may do better on a rocker or flat profile, then move to this board once turning is solid.

What size rider is this board for?

It is a youth/junior board, so it fits lighter kids and teens. Match length to the rider's weight and boot size using the brand's size chart rather than age alone.

Is a soft flex board good for freestyle?

Yes. The 1-2 flex makes it easy to press, butter and learn park tricks. It is less stable at higher speeds and on rough snow.

Does camber make it hard to ride?

Camber gives edge grip and pop but catches edges more easily than rocker. Riders with basic turning skills usually adapt quickly.

What is included with the board?

Typically just the board. Bindings, boots and a leash are usually sold separately, so confirm the listing before buying.

When is the best time to buy?

Snowboard prices usually drop at the end of the season, roughly late winter through spring. Check the price history to see whether the current price is above or below its recent range.

Our take on the M8trix Youth/Junior All-Mountain Freestyle, Softer Flex Snowboard

The M8trix Dreamer is a soft-flex (1-2) camber snowboard built for kids and juniors riding all-mountain and freestyle. The soft flex lets lighter riders bend the board and press it, and traditional camber gives edge grip on hardpack and pop off jumps. It is a generic-brand board, so expect basic materials rather than name-brand construction. No current price or price history was provided, so check the latest comparison before buying.
