Our take on the Maax Pose 6030 Acrylic Drop-In End Drain Bathtub

The Maax Pose 6030 is a drop-in acrylic bathtub measuring about 60 by 30 inches with a 21.6-inch height and an end drain. Its slim 57-pound shell and biscuit finish suit alcove or platform installations where a compact soaking tub is wanted. Acrylic holds water temperature reasonably well and is light enough for one or two people to set. The best new price is $1,236 at BNG Bath as of November 6, 2026, the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

  • End drain leaves a longer soaking area along the tub

Questions and answers

Is $1,236 a good price for this tub?
It is the only new price listed, $1,236 at BNG Bath as of November 6, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare it with. Acrylic drop-in tubs this size commonly sell in the low four figures, so it sits in a normal band.
Will it fit a standard alcove?
At roughly 60 by 30 inches it matches common alcove and platform openings, but the drop-in lip needs framing support around the rim. Measure your rough opening before ordering.
Does it come with a drain or faucet?
Drop-in tubs like this are typically sold as the shell only. Plan on buying the drain, overflow and faucet separately and confirm with the seller what is included.
How does acrylic compare to cast iron?
Acrylic is far lighter at 57 lbs and warms up faster, but it can flex and scratch. Cast iron holds heat longer and feels more solid but weighs several times more.
What does end drain mean?
The drain sits at one end rather than the center, which leaves a longer uninterrupted soaking area. It also affects where your plumbing rough-in must go.
Where is the Maax Pose 6030 Acrylic Drop-In End Drain Bathtub cheapest?
At BNG Bath, for $1,236.00, as of our latest check.
