Is the down liner removable?

Yes. The coat is sold as 3-in-1, with a down and feather liner that comes out so the wool shell can be worn alone in milder weather.

How warm is it without the liner?

Without the liner it is a standard wool coat, fine for fall and mild winter days. With the liner in, the down filling makes it a proper cold-weather coat.

Can I machine wash it?

The care instructions list 40 degrees and dry clean. Given the 100% wool shell and down filling, dry cleaning is the safer choice.

What sizes does it come in?

Listings show small through large, with this one in size L. Check Mackage's size chart, since designer outerwear often runs trim through the chest and shoulders.

Is $1,290 a good price?
