Our take on the Macy's Cottage Floral 8-Pc. Comforter Set

The Macy's Cottage Floral 8-Pc. Comforter Set is a reversible bedding bundle: a floral comforter that flips to a leaf print, with matching shams and decorative pieces in Full, Queen and King sizes. Twin comes with fewer pieces. At $29.93 at Macy's as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a full eight-piece set normally costs, so the price is the main draw. The 3.5-out-of-5 rating from 122 shoppers suggests it is decent but not a standout on quality.

Best forShoppers furnishing a guest or kids' room on a tight budgetAnyone who wants a full bedding refresh in one purchasePeople who like switching a floral look to a leaf print without buying twiceRenters who want a low-cost, easy-to-replace set

Cons
  • 3.5-star average suggests mixed satisfaction

  • Decorative pillows and shams are thin at this price
  • Print-heavy style won't suit minimalist bedrooms

Questions and answers

Is the Macy's Cottage Floral set worth it?
At $29.93 for eight pieces, yes if you want a cheap, good-looking refresh. Don't expect hotel-weight fabric or long-term durability.
What comes in the eight-piece set?
Full, Queen and King sets include the comforter, two shams and four decorative pillows. The Twin set has fewer pieces, so check the count before buying.
Is it warm enough for winter?
It is a lightweight comforter, better for spring, fall and warm sleepers. Cold sleepers should add a blanket underneath.
Can I wash the comforter in a home machine?
Yes, but use a large-capacity machine and low heat. Owners report the fill can bunch, so dry it with a couple of tennis balls to redistribute it.
Does the reversible side really look different?
Yes. One side is the cottage floral print and the other is a leaf design, so you get two distinct looks from one comforter.
When is it cheapest?
Macy's bedding goes on clearance around major holiday sales and at the end of the season. At $29.93 it is already near the bottom of its usual range.
Where is the Macy's Cottage Floral 8-Pc. Comforter Set cheapest?
At Macy's, for $29.93, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Macy's Cottage Floral 8-Pc. Comforter Set?
Rated 3.5 out of 5 from 122 ratings.
